ACTS Classes

ACTS Classes offer opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible and topical studies. Membership is not required to participate, and activities for children are offered on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. Dinner is also available at 4:45 pm. There is no charge for most classes, although some require a workbook which may be purchased in the First Baptist Orlando bookstore. Check course descriptions.

All Wednesday evening classes begin at 6:00 pm.

Betty Slaton: Director of ACTS

What is your official title? Director of ACTS What does your job involve? My job involves providing a variety of Bible study, doctrine, and topical classes to encourage spiritual growth, not only for members of First Baptist Orlando, but for our community. I review courses and search for just the right teachers to offer a balance of classes. While it is great to provide opportunities to go deeper spiritually, many times people will come to a class on marriage or parenting when they might not ordinarily attend a church. Once they get here, they find that Jesus is the real solution to whatever they are facing.
