ACTS Classes

A.C.T.S. Classes offer opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible and topical studies. Membership is not required to participate, and child care is provided on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. There is no charge for most classes (check course description), but required workbooks may be purchased in the First Orlando bookstore. To register by automated phone line, call 407-514-4224.

ACTS Classes on Parenting

6 wks - 1 ½ hrs

During this DVD and discussion course, you will learn how to follow God's "GPS" as it helps you navigate through the pitfalls and perils of raising children. For parents of elementary aged children.

4 wks - 2 hrs

Information and innovative ideas to help you teach your child healthy, nonfood-related ways of coping with the stress of life. Learn how making changes based on facts and faith result in a child being fit on the outside and joyful on the inside.

12 wks - 2 hrs

A biblical, heart-to-heart ministry led by godly mentor moms. It is a safe place for Christians and non-Christians, married or single, working moms to share the joys and frustrations of motherhood and to explore the purposes and promises God gives to parents. Books available in bookstore.

8 wks - 2 hrs

How does a boy become a man—a real “Man of God”? Find out how a father needs to relate to his son in order to pass on a Godly legacy. Book and Binder/Journal available for $29 in the first class session.

9 wks - 1 ½ hrs

God’s design for training and disciplining our children is found in His Word. This class teaches foundational scriptural precepts to parents planning for a family and those who have preschool and early elementary aged children. Cost is $12 which will cover the book and the syllabus available in class.
