A.C.T.S. Classes offer opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible and topical studies. Membership is not required to participate, and child care is provided on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. There is no charge for most classes (check course description), but required workbooks may be purchased in the First Orlando bookstore. To register by automated phone line, call 407-514-4224.
New classes will begin August 18. Classes meet Wednesday nights at 6pm.

ACTS Classes for Women  
7 wks, 2 hrs Navigating a Life Interrupted. They shock us; they shake us; they compel us to change. You can’t escape life’s interruptions, but you can change your perspective on them. Priscilla Shirer redefines interruption and shows us how interruptions are actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams, and to a life so much bigger than you can imagine. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city! Workbooks are available in the bookstore.
7 wks, 2 hrs Live a life that makes a difference and take steps to develop a victorious Christian life. Grow a deeper relationship with Christ as you practice the six biblical disciplines of a disciple. This is not only for new Christians, but for all who thirst for a deeper relationship with the Master. Workbooks are available in the bookstore.
7 wks, 2 hrs The Disciple’s Personality: Be energized to claim the victory Christ won for you on the cross! Maximize your spiritual potential; break the bonds that are holding you back. Achieve personal excellence; abound in the fruit of the Spirit. Workbooks are available in the bookstore. Completion of Session I is not required to attend this class. Newcomers are welcome!
13 wks, 2 hrs Overcome the enemy by learning how to rely on God’s Word and stand victoriously. As you begin demolishing your personal spiritual strongholds to “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ,” you will learn to believe God for all He wants to do through you. Then join God’s mission of making disciples by identifying your stage in growth and your role in ministry. Discover your spiritual gifts and determine a ministry to which God is leading you!
13 wks, 2 hrs Mom to Mom is a biblical, heart-to-heart ministry led by godly mentor moms. It is a safe place for Christians and non-Christians, married or single, working moms to share the joys and frustrations of motherhood and to explore the purposes and promises God gives to parents. Women will be refreshed and encouraged in their faith and hope in the powerful God who gave them their children.
12 wks, 2 hrs New Start 4 Single Moms is a program of hope and healing that works to break the cycle of pain by focusing on both emotional healing and setting new goals. Each mom and her mentor work together step-by-step to move forward spiritually, emotionally, financially, in parenting and in her career through goal setting. Bible studies and practical sessions will move you forward into an inspired and empowered life.
12 wks, 2 hrs The Unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ is a study of our Savior’s glorious appearing at his victorious second coming, and the signs and schedule of the end time events. Books are available in the bookstore.
7 wks, 2 hrs Loss, Love & Legacy - a study for women 18 – 28 yrs. Do you trust God enough to follow Him? Journey with Ruth through unbearable loss, redeeming love, and divine legacy in Kelly Minter’s new study. Learn more about the virtuous character of Ruth, her unique relationship with her mother-in-law, Naomi, and her blossoming love with Boaz. If you’ve ever felt devastated, struggled as a stranger, longed to be loved, or have wept along the way, you’ll find a loyal sister in Ruth. Workbooks are available in the bookstore.
13 wks, 2 hrs Many of us know the pain of a troubled past, especially a past that includes sexual abuse. Survivors of such abuse need a safe place where healing can take place without pressure. Facilitated by lay women who are themselves survivors, this class will help you take the first steps toward the healing found only in Christ. 10 wks, 2 hrs This discipleship is based on six biblical life principles presented in a fun and supportive Life Coaching group setting. You will learn the answers to your heart questions, uncover your uniqueness in Christ and discover your own personal life mission to help you flourish on your journey of living a life of significance. Cost is $28 and materials can be purchased in class.
4 wks, 1 hr A seamstress looks at the garments in the Bible. Have you ever thought of God as a clothing designer? God uses Biblical garments to teach about who He is -- His purposes and plans for us. This intriguing study includes a look at ancient textile processes, dyes, and construction techniques, especially related to Aaron's priestly robes.
