My primary responsibility is communicating vision to the body of Christ here at First Orlando, and leading and teaching from God’s Word to accomplish that vision.

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but raised primarily in Arkansas, where my father pastored several churches during my growing-up years.

I oversee the Missions Ministry at First Baptist Church Orlando, This includes our venues and mission churches, Center For Pregnancy, Language Missions, ESL Ministry, Evangelism Training, National and International Mission Partnerships, I also partner with Local Missions Pastor, John Helton, to provide meaningful opportunities of service here in the Greater Orlando area.

What does your job involve?
I minister to 7th and 8th graders, trying to help them in their walk with God and realizing their potential in God.

My parents, who have been married over 30 years now, and a younger sister.

I’m the oldest of two sisters and one brother.

My job is twofold. One is to coordinate all the facilities work of the church, which includes engineering, housekeeping, security and the maintaining of the buildings. My other area of responsibility is to be a liaison on the construction of new buildings programs on behalf of the church. I also assist the Pastor of Staff Administration, Danny de Armas, in conducting additional business matters of the church.

Coordinating the staff and overseeing the business functions of church operations.

I was born in Hialeah, Florida, and moved to Orlando when I was in the second grade when my dad, Rafael, came on staff at First Orlando in 1969.

My team and I partner with parents and volunteers to transform children into spiritual champions. We do that by coordinating children’s Life Groups, camps, Vacation Bible School, parenting classes and other strategic events.

I was born in Lubbock, Texas, and raised in Midland, Texas. My dad was in the oil industry, so we moved around a lot, but Midland was home base.
What does your job involve?
I oversee both our college and singles ministry. My responsibilities center on Life Groups, but I also oversee our Tuesday night singles service called "The Drive" and our Wednesday college Bible study, "The District."

I was born in Baytown, Texas, and raised in Spring, Texas.

My jobs involve researching places for us to expand as a church; overseeing our different language groups; and helping to form new home LIFE Groups. I work far more with off-campus concerns than on-campus.

I’m the youngest of four. I have two sisters and a brother. My closest sibling is 11 years older than me.

I have primary responsibility for hospital visitation; grief ministry — working with families who have lost loved ones; funeral planning; weddings; the Preparation for Marriage ministry; and benevolence.

What does your job involve?
I work with a fantastic team to touch the lives of preschool children and their parents. We are blessed to plant some of the first seeds of faith in Jesus in the hearts of children as well as equip, support and encourage parents as they raise their precious little ones in today’s world.

I lead the team that does all the discipleship for the church. That includes the Men’s and Women’s Ministries, the ACTS Ministry and the LIFE Group ministries.

I work in the decision-counseling room to speak with people who have just made a decision for Christ (following the worship service). What are your primary responsibilities?
I’m involved in coordinating and mobilizing the whole church in prayer, fasting, healing and health. For the past several years, I was head of the Men’s Ministry and a Senior Adult Minister.

I serve as the church’s liaison to various local ministries and organizations in the community. I provide members with a variety of service opportunities year round. I work with the Global Missions Group to recruit, equip and mobilize our church members to go outside of the church and impact the community around us.

I was born in Shiloh, Georgia, and raised there until high school when I moved to Marion, Alabama, where I went to military school.

My job involves overseeing and resourcing everything we do in the world of worship and event management as well as working alongside the media/communications team.

I work with our many different language groups across Orlando. In the greater Orlando area, 35-40 percent of the population is of international origin, and approximately 25 percent of Orlando is of Hispanic origin....
What does your job involve?
I consider my job as using the tool of food to minister to the members of our church and guests and leading my staff and volunteers to do the same.

I provide leadership in the Children’s Music and Worship Ministry. I lead the volunteers who teach the elementary aged children about how to worship God “in spirit and in truth.” My other ministry involves coordinating “Parent Connections” in the Children's Ministry.

The Brazilian Ministry is a hybrid entity, a ministry of First Orlando, but also functions like a church. Therefore, I do the function of a pastor, including teaching, preaching, vision casting, counseling, visitation, etc.
Where were you born and raised?
In Sao Paulo, Brazil, the largest city in Latin America. I lived in Brazil for 38 years before coming to the U.S. I came to study at Princeton Theological Seminary.
What does your job involve? I serve the Spanish people who come to our church ministry in their culture, reach out for that segment of the community, oversee programs that have to do with Hispanics here at First Orlando, mainly LIFE Groups; and serve as a bridge so that the church also gets involved. In the Dominican Republic, specifically in the capital of Santo Domingo. I lived there until I was 24.
What does your job involve?
My job involves the implementation and supervision of Life Groups, Wednesday night services, discipleship, outreach and fellowship for 6th graders. It also includes administrative duties for the entire student ministry.
