First Orlando Kids

Children are important at First Baptist Orlando! 

Our mission statement  is: "The Children's Ministry at First Orlando exists to honor God by partnering with parents to transfom kids into spiritual champions."

All of our children's programs are Bible-focused, kid-friendly, safe, fun and relevant.

Sunday Mornings (Mission 2.52)
  During the LIFE group hour , children participate in "Mission 2.52"

• E1 Building: K-1^st grade on the Second floor and 2^nd -5^th grades on third floor
• Same program offered at three different hours : 7:45 , 9:00 and 10:45
• Curriculum is 252 Basics , based on Luke 2.52 – growing kids to be like Jesus
• Children are placed in small groups of 7-10 kids, based on their grade
• Small groups are led by Small Group Shepherds with the purpose of building intentional relationships and life application from large group
• Large group time kids’ praise God through music and learn values and virtures from God’s word in creative ways

Wednesday Nights Passport to Adventure
 Children's Music & Worship/ Children's Ministry - 6-8pm

• In the first hour, we’ve paired music and missions as we travel the globe, learning how missionaries share Jesus with the world and how you can too!
• Children are escorted to the Harbor at 7pm for the large group session. 4th & 5th graders are dismissed from the Harbor at 8pm, unless their parents have requested to come pick them up at 8pm.

Saturday Night Kidz Church - 6:20-8pm
Where church is fun & the Bible comes alive.

• Please check your kids in when you arrive on campus ( before the worship service) in the Discipleship ( E-1) 1st floor lobbies.
• Children will be dismissed during the worship service after the music portion. Kidz Church volunteers will escort those children to the 3rd floor Discipleship to the Kidz Church Service (E1-323). You may pick your children up after  the end of thier worship service.
• Kidz Church runs from aprox. 6:20-7:20pm and children break out into LIFE groups from 7:20-8pm.

Through a wide range of programs and activities, we strive to create an environment where your child will have a great time learning the truths of the Bible.
