Parent Commitment Service

“…bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”
Ephesians 6:4

Our parent commitment service is a time for parents to publicly commit to God in front of their church family to raise their child to know Jesus Christ and pray for wisdom and guidance during this new period of their lives.

The parent commitment service is not an infant baptism but is based on the presentation of Samuel by Hannah in I Samuel 1:28 and the presentation of Jesus by Joseph and Mary in Luke 2:22.

If this is your first time to participate in parent commitment at our church, we require one or both parents to attend our parent commitment class. This class will help you understand what parent commitment is, what it is not, what will occur at the service and how our church partners with you during these important preschool years. It is also a good opportunity to meet other parents and become familiar with the programs and opportunities our church has for preschool families!
