The mission of the Early Learning Center is to enhance the Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Orlando by providing a safe, loving and Christ-centered learning environment for children ages 8 weeks through 3 years of age.
As an extension of the ministry of First Orlando, we offer guidance, ministry opportunity and outreach to the children and their families.
The Early Learning Center uses the “Wee Learn” curriculum developed by Lifeway Early Education Resources.
Uses age appropriate activities presented in learning centers & group experiences
Encourages children to explore & experience proper skills & concepts
Allows each child to reach maximum potential at his/her own pace
Teaches important spiritual foundations, language skills, mathematical concepts, scientific understand and problem solving
Weekly Music and Art Classes
Enhances independent and social skills through song, movement and instruments
Fosters creativity and artistic exploration
Develops important school readiness skills such as fine motor skills, ability to listen and follow directions, cognitive skills and language
All have training in early childhood education
Encourages independence, and self-sufficiency while building self-esteem
Stimulates curiosity and creativity
