2nd Chances Resale Shoppe is a ministry of First Orlando. We provide high quality, gently used merchandise at an affordable price. 100% of all net revenues are used to support mission causes of First Orlando.
Currently Recruiting Volunteers... 2nd Chances will rely heavily on volunteers to fill key roles in daily running of 2nd Chances Resale Shoppe. Volunteers are needed to assist with handling day-to-day tasks, sorting and sales operations.
Volunteers are needed to “run” the shoppe, and we need you to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus in a discouraged world but more importantly right here in our local community. The response of donations have been overwhelming and the community is already reaping the benefits. However, we need volunteers to help keep the doors open and help us minister to the hurting as they enter the doors.
The shoppe hours are Monday-Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Volunteer shifts are scheduled from 9:30am to 2:00pm or 1:30 to 5:30pm on those days. Of course, if you are unable to commit to the entire 4 hour shift, please do not be discouraged we will work out a schedule to accommodate you. In addition, we receive donations on 1st Sunday’s from 9am to 1pm. Volunteer shifts are 9 to 11 am or 11am to 1pm to receive donations.
