Hello everyone!

My name is Patrick White and I am one of two guys who are excited to be able to impact the college students in the Lake Buena Vista area. It has been the hope of First Orlando's College Ministry to reach this area for 4 years, and God opened the doors for us to do so on October 3, 2008. On that day three guys (Craig, Patrick and John) took a step of faith and moved from their homes to an apartment at the heart of the college community in Lake Buena Vista. In May 2009 God called Craig back to North Carolina to start a new ministry in his hometown. With that revelation from God John and Patrick started looking for a new place. In September we moved into our new place within the same complex. Now, with a population of several thousand college students on their backdoor step, they continue to pray that God would move in a mighty way and that these students (most of whom intern at a near by theme park) from all over the world would hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The apartment began to be furnished by the generosity of the members of First Orlando as we acquired a couch here, a dining room table there, etc. And now, that humble little apartment is set to be a 24-7 ministry location. We are excited to see God open the flood gates to this community desperate for Jesus.
