Prayer and Health Ministry

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Prayer is so much more than simply asking God for things we want. Prayer is about being in His presence. It is our  desire that God's people experience His joy and peace by becoming a praying people — a people that seeks God with all our hearts, souls and minds at all times!

Prayer Request - If you'd like to pray with someone, the Prayer Line is available anytime at 800-670-0996, or you can submit a prayer request using the form on the right.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own; you were bought at a price.  Therefore honor God with your body. - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20"

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. - 3 John 1:2

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. - 1 Corinthians 10:

Serve in the Prayer Ministry

We are a community that cares for one another. Following each weekly worship service, volunteers pray with those for wisdom and in circumstances or wanting to take the next steps in their faith.

A quiet place for personal prayer and to pray for all the prayer requests received by the church from a variety of sources: phone, email, cards, internet, etc. Volunteers pray for these requests in the Prayer Center, adjacent to Welcome Center A.

Prayer team volunteers meet Mondays, 10am-Noon, in Marie Williams Chapel to pray for each other and for all prayer requests received by the church.

Commit to faithfully pray for and encourage the missionary and family by email, cards, or letters. Maybe your Life Group could adopt, care for them and their children, and create sharing opportunities in your groups.

A Prayer Champion's responsibility would be to lead the prayer effort in preparation for the mission trip and on the field. This would include praying over and with mission trip team members during the trip preparation meetings, preparing a prayer guide and providing prayer updates back home.
