First Orlando KIDS

No one will have more influence on your child than you! We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. It is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

First Orlando KIDS meets during each service and is the place where your children will be safe, have fun and learn about Jesus on their level! Children birth through 5th grade have exciting experiences during each of our services times.

First Orlando KIDS is located in our E2 Building, near Welcome Center A. When you arrive on our campus, head to Welcome Center A and our New Family Check In area–we’ll be ready for you!

Kids Lead

Did you know Studio 45 Kids have an opportunity to serve in KIDS Ministry after attending their small group? We want to empower kids to attend one hour and serve one hour, which means if your child attends Studio 45 programs they are eligible to serve in Preschool, Kids Special Needs, or Kindergarten small groups. We believe this is a perfect opportunity to teach what it means to follow Jesus through serving!

KIDS Wednesday Nights

JANUARY 22 – MAY 20

KIDS Wednesday night is an exciting opportunity for kids to learn more about Jesus! Our mission is built around three fun environments: SING, GROW and LEAD. Each Wednesday night our kids will learn about the ways that they can worship, serve and dive deeper into the Bible while learning how to apply it to their daily lives. We are excited for this incredible opportunity to impact the lives of our kids by showing them how to use their spiritual gifts.

Baby Dedication

Baby Dedication is more than an event. It is a 3-step process that creates an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what will matter the most in the life of your child — to really talk together and decide what you value and what you can do today that will have the greatest impact on your child’s future.

Special Needs

Our Special Needs ministry is designed to meet the unique needs of everyperson. We desire for every person to feel safe, loved, and to know that they are valued by God and at First Orlando. We believe every person is uniquely designed by God and it is our goal to help them understand God’s purpose and plan for their lives!

FAQ

We celebrate baby dedications and do not baptize infants, and baby dedication is not infant baptism. We believe that when people are old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, they should have the opportunity to make that choice for themselves. A preschooler is not able to understand sin, forgiveness, the sacrifice our Savior made for us and what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Baby Dedication is about your commitment to lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, so that as he or she gets older, you are able to guide your child and help him or her understand what that relationship means. We pray that every child, regardless of whether they've been dedicated, will one day respond to the Gospel in faith and make the decision to get baptized.
