Camp Orlando

High School: JULY 21-25, 2023
Middle School: JULY 25-28, 2023

Camp Orlando registration is NOW OPEN.
Camp Orlando is First Orlando’s annual summer camp at Southeastern University! Camp Orlando is for all students who will complete grades 5th-12th in the 2022/2023 school year. Students will experience God through authentic worship and dynamic Bible teaching. They will also have a fantastic time with other students their age through small groups, team recreation during the day, and late-night activities!

This year, Camp Orlando will be split into TWO CAMPS! One specifically designed for our High School Students, and one created just for Middle Schoolers! We want Camp Orlando to be impactful, relatable, and fun for each student regardless of their age. We’re so excited to have curated experiences for both Middle School and High School.

If your student is completing 5th grade in May 2023, they will be considered a 6th-grade student for Camp Orlando 2023. If your student will complete 8th grade in May 2023, they will be considered a 9th-grade student for Camp and you must complete the High School Registration Form.

Both Camps will be held at Southeastern University.
High School Camp will be from July 21-25, 2023.
Middle School Camp will be from July 25-28, 2023.

FAQ

Yes, your student can bring their medication to Camp Orlando, but they will NOT be allowed to carry it with them. For the safety of all students, we do not allow minors to carry or have access to any kind of medications (over the counter or prescribed) with them at Camp Orlando. We provide two camp nurses. One for middle school and one for high school. Our nurses will help your student stay in their prescribed medication. At the day of Camp Orlando check-in, we will have a table for our camp nurses. If your student needs to bring their prescribed medication, please bring it with you and stop by to see our nurses. You will be asked to fill out a paper with information on their medication, times, and doses. You will get to meet our nurses and turn in your student’s medication to them. Each student will have a bag with their name and grade on it with their medication and medication card info in it. Please make sure to talk about this with your student and make sure they also remember their medication times.
No. Students groups are sorted by grade, gender, and their small groups.
Because of a high number of registrations coming in daily, our team must keep adjusting our roommate list. For this reason, you will not know who your student will roommate with until you arrive for check-in on the first day of camp. Our team is doing their very best to honor all roommate requests provided by our students on their registration forms. However, roommate requests are just a request and not a guarantee. Thank You for understanding.
Because of a high number of registrations coming in daily, our team must keep adjusting our small groups list. For this reason, you will not know who your student’s group leader or other students in their group will be until you arrive for check-in on the first day of camp. When making small group assignments, we give priority to pairing leaders and students who attend MVMT Students small groups together. Thank You for understanding.
There are two roommates per room at Camp Orlando. Students are housed near their group leaders and other students in their group and grade.
No. Guys and girls DO NOT sleep in the same building. Our guys and girls are housed in different building and in different parts of campus during their stay at Camp Orlando.
At Camp Orlando, we offer a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Your student will have plenty of options to choose from. Our food is safely prepared and served by the wonderful Food Services staff at Southeastern University. If your student has an allergy or a food intolerance, please make sure to have a conversation with them at home and remind them of what types of food are safe for them to eat. Also, please let them know that they can always ask a Food Services staff member in the cafeteria (they will be serving our meals) or ask their small group leader or a MVMT staff member for help.
