No Other Gods* by Kelly Minter – led by Dee Woolford
Description: Often, idols are obvious—money, power, fame. But subtler idols can sometimes take the form of loved ones, Instagrammable interiors, and busy seasons of work, motherhood, or ministry. But if your heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, you’re missing the unrivaled joy and adventure of Jesus being your heart’s ultimate treasure.
In this 8-session, revised and expanded study, learn to identify the functional gods you may be unknowingly serving and the lies they tell. As you dethrone your modern-day idols, you’ll be set free for the deeper, more abundant life Jesus came to give you—discovering that Jesus can do what no other god can.
Time: Wednesday Evenings from 6:30-8:00pm starting October 13 (6 weeks)
Location: John Young Campus – Faith Hall 350

Anxious* by Scarlet Hiltibidal – led by Shawna Felton
Description: There’s plenty to worry about, and the world is full of faulty solutions for our anxieties. But true peace comes when we learn to hold God’s Word up to what worries us. There, we learn we can’t fix ourselves; we can’t protect ourselves. Instead, the Bible tells us we can rest, knowing that Jesus walked into the broken, sad, scary places to rescue us and love us. He is the One who fixes. His is the only protection that matters. Learn how we can practically take hold of the perfect peace that is only available through God as we dive deeply into His Word, embrace the practice of prayer, and live authentically in the support of our communities of faith.
Time: Wednesday Evenings from 6:30-8:00pm starting October 6 (8 weeks)

Circle of Moms is a biblically-based ministry led by mentor moms. It is designed to nurture and encourage younger women in their roles as the wives and mothers God has purposed them to be. Women gather regularly for practical teaching of Biblical principles for the everyday issues faced by today’s wives and mothers, combined with up-close relationships with older women, and-heart-to-heart encouragement from other moms. They are refreshed and encouraged in their faith and hope in the powerful God who gave them their children.
