This is the central hub for First Baptist Orlando’s Disaster Relief Efforts.

We know that you want to help! In light of Hurricane Michael, we’re partnering with SEND Relief and we’ve put together ways that we as a church can help those in need of disaster relief. As we pray, give, and serve, know that you are making a difference and showing Jesus’ love to others in one of their greatest times of need.

Our Disaster Relief Fund is receiving donations. Know that 100% of your contribution will go to local needs in affected areas.

We’re dedicated to helping the rebuilding efforts needed in areas affected by disaster by sending serving teams. Our partnership with SEND Relief and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief efforts provide us with opportunities to help when and where it’s most needed.

Volunteer to Help

Help provide essential items needed for clean-up from Hurricane Michael. We’re collecting items listed below that will be delivered to effected areas in North Florida. All items can be dropped off in Faith Hall at the Welcome Desk throughout the week or during any of our weekend services. In order to best serve our partners in North Florida, we ask that you only drop off items included on the list below:

  • tarps
  • cardboard moving boxes
  • packing tape
  • chainsaws*
  • chainsaw blades and blade oil
  • plastic gas cans
  • roofing nails with attached plastic washers
  • work gloves
  • bottled water

* Chainsaws will be checked-in at the welcome desk and a name should be clearly visible on the saw. Every effort will be made by our partners to return chainsaws, but not guaranteed.
