Foundation of Hope

Read: Psalm 62:5-6 “For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.”

Reflect: As we reflect on the theme of hope heading into Christmas, consider how the love of God, expressed through the gift of Jesus, provides us a constant source of hope. It is a love that transcends cultural boundaries, territorial limits, and human agendas. In this season of anticipation, may we find rest in God’s unchanging love.

Pray: God we come before you with hearts filled with gratitude for the hope that you provide. In a world that often feels uncertain, we find solace in your unshakeable love. Help us to be mindful of the incredible gift of Jesus and the hope that He brings.

Step: Reach out to someone who is going through a difficult time and share a word of hope with them.
