Read: Galatians 4:4-5 “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.”
Reflect: God’s perfect love compelled Him to give the most precious gift imaginable – His only Son. He longed for us to become His children and enter into a loving relationship with Him. Today, Christmas Day, may we reflect deeply on the extravagant nature of God’s love. What wondrous love is this!
Pray: Heavenly Father, we stand in awe of Your sacrificial love and the gift of Your Son. We are overwhelmed by the desire You had to make us Your sons and daughters. Teach us how to love others with the same patience, mercy and grace that You have lavished upon us. Help us spread the Good News of Your love come down at Christmas.
Step: Set aside intentional time today to read the Christmas story in Luke 2. Reflect on God bridging the great divide between the divine and human realms because of His great love for you.
