Joy That Lasts

Read: John 16:22 “So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.”

Reflect: Jesus promises a joy that no one can take from us. Even in sorrow, we hold onto the hope that we will see Jesus and our joy will be complete. This Advent, let’s hold this promise close and look forward to the joy that awaits us in Christ.

Pray: Jesus, in the midst of our sorrows, we look forward to the joy of seeing You face to face. Keep this hope alive in us every day. Amen.
