Plans for Hope

Read: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Reflect: Even when our circumstances are far from what we had hoped, we can rest in the assurance that God has plans for our welfare, a future filled with hope. This promise is not a blueprint for an easy life, but it is a declaration of God’s ultimate intention for our good.
Pray: Lord of Hope, reassure us of Your sovereign plans for our lives. In times of uncertainty and change, help us to trust in Your promise of a hopeful future. Guide our steps according to Your will. In Christ’s name, Amen.
Step: Reflect on the past year and identify ways in which you have seen God’s plans unfold in your life. Write them down as a testimony of His goodness.
