Restored Joy

Read: Psalm 51:12 “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.”

Reflect: Sometimes our joy can be overshadowed by life’s challenges. Yet, we can ask for the joy of salvation to be restored to us, a joy that is rooted beyond our circumstances. This Advent, let’s seek a renewal of joy in the amazing truth that we are saved and loved by God.

Pray: Father, renew in us the joy that comes from Your salvation. Give us willing spirits to follow You in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Step: Think of a time you felt a strong sense of joy in your faith. Write it down and thank God for that moment.
